The Deep Blue Sea
Okay, I just finished watching this movie and it’s beautiful but also disturbing. Two scenes were incredibly well acted and I felt uncomfortable watching it which is always a good sign. Of course the whole movie was great but these two scenes stood out. The first scene was the one in front of the pub where he’s basically making clear to her that it’s over. Though in a very cruel but understandable way. And the second one is the morning after they spent their last night together. They had me sobbing there.
This relationship had all the fire her marriage was missing. But I guess too much fire burns the passion too. She couldn’t find the balance between a reasonable (first marriage) and a passionate relationship. In the end she was alone. The scene above is kinda heartbreaking in the context of the whole movie. Definitely recommendable movie.
